If clients abroad pay you in US dollars or another foreign currency, the money becomes Philippine pesos (PHP) after at least one conversion, and withdrawing to a local bank account can carry its own fee. How to use it
- Open PayPal's official fee page for the Philippines and find the percentage and the fixed fee for the kind of payment you receive. They depend on the account type, the payment type and the sender's country.
- Type them in above, in the currency of the payment. If PayPal converts the currency, add the conversion percentage as well.
- Read the estimate. It is a simple sum and leaves out taxes, your bank's charges and any other fees.
