Yearly fee loss calculator

Enter your monthly invoice volume, the number of payments and the rate you pay, and see what processor fees add up to over a year. The result comes only from the numbers you enter.

The fixed fee is charged on every payment, so more and smaller payments cost more.

US business rates checked 2026-10-19 on the providers' own pages (see Sources). PayPal adds a 3.00% or 4.00% conversion spread when it converts currency and Stripe adds 1%: enter that in "Conversion / extra". For any other provider or rate, type your own numbers.

How this works

The yearly fee is computed as: (Monthly volume x (Fee rate + Conversion / extra) / 100 + Payments per month x Fixed fee) x 12. The volume is split evenly across the payments you enter, and every month is assumed to be the same.

The calculator does not compare your fees with any other route and does not include taxes, refunds, disputes or withdrawal fees. For the fee on one payment use the PayPal calculator or the Stripe calculator.
